All spring and summer I have been going to the local car cruise nights put on by the East Coast Car Association. I like taking pictures of cars and talking with the owners. When there is a classic Cadillac I use those pictures over on my classic Cadillac site. The others I put up on Facebook and/or a Flickr album for all the guys to see their cars. This week at their last car show they surprised me by giving me a community service award.
I appreciate it and was totally surprised by it. Getting your pictures in the newspaper and on CNN is one thing but when someone hands you an award it is so much better. Thanks guys, can’t wait until next year to do it all again. Here are a few pictures from the day. This is a cool shot of police motorcycles all lined up in a row.
Before the event I walked around Forest Park and took some pictures of the changing leaves and captured some nice colors I thought you may enjoy. Yes that is a carousel in the background. It would of made a great shot if that was open and the horses were exposed. Something to think about next time I go back there.
It was really peaceful area of the park. I want to go back in the same spot in the spring time when leaves are blooming on the trees.
